For international patients

Planning Your Dental Visit to Bangkok

Coming from overseas for dental work feels like a big step, but the planning is simpler than most people expect. This page walks you through how it works from your first message to flying home: how to get a plan before you book a flight, how many days to set aside, and what to expect when you arrive.

If you already know the treatment you want, you can jump to dental veneers in Bangkok, dental crowns in Bangkok or dental implants in Bangkok for prices and details, or book a free consultation to get a personalised plan.

Step 1: Get a plan before you travel

You do not need to fly first and hope for the best. The starting point is a free consultation you can do remotely. Send us recent photos of your teeth and a short note on what you would like to change, and our team can give you a first read on your options, a rough treatment plan, and an indicative price, usually within one business day.

This matters because it means you book your flights around a real plan, not a guess. By the time you arrive, we already know roughly what we are doing, and the in-person assessment on day one confirms the details and finalises shade and shape.

Step 2: Know how many days to set aside

Trip length depends on the treatment. Here is a realistic guide so you can plan flights and time off with confidence.

TreatmentTypical visitsDays to plan
Composite veneers1 visitOften same day
Porcelain veneers2 visitsAbout 5 to 7 days
Dental crowns2 visitsAbout 3 to 10 days
Dental implants2 tripsPlacement, then crown after healing

For the day-by-day detail, see our guides on how many days veneers in Bangkok take and how many visits a dental crown needs. Implants are usually split across two trips a few months apart, with many patients flying home in between rather than waiting in Thailand.

Step 3: Plan the lab gap as part of the holiday

Porcelain veneers and lab crowns need a short wait while your restorations are made. Rather than sitting idle, most patients use those days to enjoy Bangkok or take a short trip to the coast, then return for the fitting visit. The simple rule is to be back in Bangkok the day before your next appointment, with a buffer day at the end before you fly.

Getting here

The clinic is in Pathumwan, in the Siam Square area in the centre of Bangkok, which is easy to reach on the BTS Skytrain and well served by hotels at every budget. Most international patients stay nearby so appointments are a short ride away.

What to bring

  • Any recent dental X-rays or records you already have
  • A list of any medication you take
  • Photos of past dental work if relevant
  • Your treatment goal in your own words, so we can match it to the right option

You do not need to organise X-rays in advance. If we need imaging such as a 3D scan for implants, that is done at the clinic as part of your plan.

Step 4: After you fly home

Your treatment does not end at the airport. We give you clear aftercare, you keep your written quote and treatment notes, and you can reach the team with questions once you are home. For work that carries a warranty, you receive the terms in writing before any treatment begins, so you know exactly where you stand. Our guides on what happens if a veneer breaks after you fly home and veneer aftercare and recovery cover the practical side.

Ready to plan your trip?

The best first step costs nothing. Tell us your goal and send a few photos, and we will come back with a plan and a price before you book a flight. See treatment options and prices on our dental veneers, dental crowns and dental implants pages, or book your free consultation to get started.
